This Myrciaria comes from the Caribbean.
There the delicious fruit is eaten raw and used to refine rum.
The plant gets larger leaves every year.
The fruits are juicy and very sweet.
Our plant here is now 2 years old.
We cut off a few brown leaf tips from the winter.
Please overwinter at at least 15 degrees.

Dort wird die leckere Frucht roh gegessen und zur Veredlung von Rum verwendet.
Die Pflanze bekommt von Jahr zu Jahr größere Blätter.
Die Früchte sind saftig und sehr süss.
Unsere Pflanze hier ist jetzt 2 Jahre alt.
Wir haben ein paar braune Blattspitzen vom Winter abgeschnitten.
Überwintern bitte bei mindestens 15 Grad.
