This year, two new Myrciaria were discovered on the Maruim River in the UNA National Park in Bahia, Brazil.
The UNA National Park is around 19,000 hectares in size and is located in the municipality of the same name in the south of Bahia.
The state of Bahia alone is almost twice the size of Germany and almost seven times the size of Austria or Portugal.
And this large national park is closed to the public and can only be visited with registration/permission.
What hardly anyone knows: this national park has the greatest plant biodiversity in the world!
But now to the second of the new Myrciaria:
Myrciaria sp Maruim
This Myrciaria has a light red skin and orange flesh.
The taste is exceptionally good and very pleasant.
Many of these Myrciaria fruits actually have a fantastic taste that can compete with Jaboticaba.
The tree also has these beautiful, Myrtaceae-typical leaves.
Please also overwinter this Myrciaria at at least 10 degrees.



In diesem Jahr wurden zwei neue Myrciaria am Fluß Maruim im UNA Nationalpark in Bahia Brasilien entdeckt.
Der UNA Nationalpark ist ca. 19.000 Hektar groß und liegt in der gleichnamigen Gemeinde im Süden von Bahia.
Allein der Bundesstaat Bahia ist fast doppelt so groß wie Deutschland und fast sieben mal so groß wie Österreich oder Portugal.
Und dieser große Nationalpark ist für die Öffentlichkeit gesperrt und nur mit Anmeldung/Genehmigung zu besichtigen.
Was kaum jemand weiß: dieser Nationalpark hat die größte pflanzliche Artenvielfalt der Welt!
Doch jetzt zu der zweiten der neuen Myrciaria:
Myrciaria sp Maruim
Diese Myrciaria hat eine hellrote Schale und orangenes Fruchtfleisch. 
Der Geschmack ist außerordentlich gut und sehr angenehm.
Viele dieser Myrciaria Früchte haben tatsächlich einen fantastischen Geschmack der es mit Jaboticaba aufnehmen kann.
Der Baum hat diese ebenfalls diese schönen, Myrtaceae-typischen Blätter. 
Bitte auch diese Myrciaria bei mindestens 10 Grad überwintern.
