It is a really delicious fruit with a wonderful sweet/acidic ratio.
It tastes like mangosteen with a little more acidity.
Very pleasant.
You can eat it as it is and the peel doesn't have to be thrown away, you can use it fresh as a tea infusion or dried.
Garcinia humilis comes from Bolivia, Guatemala and is also grown commercially in Australia.
There is no agreement about the exact taxonomy.
