Sphagnum moss is an excellent medium for germinating seeds. The moss, which is delivered dry, is moistened. The moss can absorb a relatively large amount of water, but we recommend not making the moss too moist. Slightly moist is enough for most seeds. If you only send seeds, we will deliver the sphagnum moss in a ziplock bag because we can ship it more cheaply that way.
