Far from it! This is an independent Eugenia.
The Eugenia pitanga is also called Pitanga do Cerrado.
It is found in the Cerrado and its outlying areas, but is one of the few exceptions that is much easier to keep.
This Eugenia tastes even better than the normal "Eugenia uniflora".
Please overwinter at a minimum of 10 degrees.
