This completely new Annona also comes from the Brazilian Cerrado.
It was only discovered this year and impresses with its fruit shape and color.
The fruits are also arranged in clusters; unfortunately, these had already fallen off at the location, and only a few isolated fruit segments remained on the tree.
The plant prefers full sun and is drought-tolerant.
It is ideal for cultivation in well-drained substrates and does not require humus-rich soil.
The fruit flesh is sweet and has a unique aroma.
Its lack of acidity and astringency is notable, making the flavor particularly mild and pleasant.
The seeds should be soaked in warm water for 24 hours before sowing to promote germination.
Germination can take several weeks to months; patience is required.
Use a well-drained, sandy substrate without a high humus content.
A bright, full-sun location is ideal.
Water moderately; the plant is drought-tolerant and does not tolerate waterlogging.
Please overwinter at a minimum of 10 degrees Celsius.

Diese vollkommen neue Annona stammt ebenfalls aus dem brasilianischen Cerrado.
Sie wurde erst in diesem Jahr entdeckt und beeindruckt durch ihre Form und Farbe der Früchte.
Die Früchte sind ebenfalls in Büscheln angeordent, leider waren am Standort diese bereits heruntergefallen und es hingen nur noch ein paar vereinzelte Fruchtsegmente am Baum.
Die Pflanze bevorzugt vollsonnige Standorte und ist trockenheitstolerant.
Sie eignet sich ideal für die Kultivierung in durchlässigem Substrat und benötigt keine humusreiche Erde.​
Das Fruchtfleisch ist süß und besitzt ein einzigartiges Aroma.
Bemerkenswert ist der Mangel an Säure und Adstringenz, was den Geschmack besonders mild und angenehm macht. ​
Die Samen sollten vor der Aussaat 24 Stunden in warmem Wasser eingeweicht werden, um die Keimung zu fördern.
Die Keimung kann mehrere Wochen bis Monate dauern; Geduld ist erforderlich.
Verwende ein gut durchlässiges, sandiges Substrat ohne hohen Humusanteil.
Ein heller, vollsonniger Platz ist ideal.
Mäßig gießen; die Pflanze ist trockenheitstolerant und verträgt keine Staunässe.​
