These Garcinia have relatively small fruits but they taste really fantastic.
I got my first Lemon Drop Mangosteen fruit from Adam (Flying Fox Fruit) a few years ago and was thrilled with how great it tasted.
In the first year (and sometimes the second year) they grow really relatively slowly.
From the third year onwards they start to branch out and then you can literally see them growing.
This Garcinia is relatively easy to care for and can be kept very well in a pot.
Please overwinter at at least 10 degrees.
Diese Garcinia haben relativ kleine Früchte aber diese schmecken wirklich fantastisch gut.
Meine erste Lemon Drop Mangosteen Frucht habe ich vor ein paar Jahren von Adam (Flying Fox Fruit) bekommen und war riesig über den so tollen Geschmack begeistert.
Im ersten Jahr (und manchmal auch zweiten Jahr) wachsen sie wirklich relativ langsam.
Ab dem dritten Jahr beginnen sie sich zu verzweigen und dann kann man förmich beim Wachstum zusehen.
Diese Garcinia ist relativ pflegeleicht und kann sehr gut im Topf gehalten werden.
Überwintern bitte bei mindestens 10 Grad.
